The unit is modern and of steel portal frame construction with internal block work up to 2 and cladding above. It has a concrete floor and profile sheet roof cladding incorporating 10% roof lights. The unit measures 5.4m to the underside of the eaves. In the workshop is an inspection pit and 1 personnel external door. There are two full height electric full height roll over doors. There is sodium down lighters and a warm air heating system. Within the workshop are fuel tanks.
There is access from the yard into the offices where there is also a WC. Beyond the office and accessed also from the workshop is a storeroom and a small kitchen. There is access from the offices to the first floor as there is from the workshop and also a separate external entrance on the east elevation. The first floor is also provided with air conditioning.
The site is rectangular and generally level, the surface is concrete and there is a wash area.
